Or for a free site, I have heard that plentyoffish.com ( http://www.plentyoffish.com ) is a pretty good one. Matter of fact, I’ve seen it touted as the best free dating site in several different places. If I could remember where I read it, I’d site the sources for you.
I can’t give it a personal recommendation simply because I
haven’t used it. So, lack of my personal recommendation isn’t in any way a strike against it. It’s simply a lack of personal experience with it.
I do know that one person I told about it who has been disappointed in many of the other dating or meeting sites has been pleased with this one.
Yahoo! Groups is also a good place to meet and get to know people. You can search for one that interests you by going to the Groups Home Page here:
